George A.
Kellner
Managing Director, Chief Executive Office
George Kellner is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kellner DiLeo & Co., LLC. Mr. Kellner has been in the arbitrage
business for 25 years and founded KDC Merger Arbitrage Fund, LP
in 1981. Prior to Kellner, DiLeo & Co., Mr. Kellner was
a Senior Vice President and founded the arbitrage department of
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Before commencing his arbitrage
career, Mr. Kellner was a Vice President and House Counsel of the
Madison Fund where he had broad responsibilities as a financial
analyst and portfolio manager. Mr. Kellner began his professional
career as a securities lawyer at the Wall Street law firm of Carter,
Ledyard and Milburn and holds a B.A. (Trinity College), a J.D.
(Columbia Law School) and an M.B.A. (New York University's Leonard
Stern Graduate School of Business). He is a Chartered Financial
Analyst and a former Adjunct Assistant Professor of Finance at
the New York University. |

Keith
M. Moore, PhD
Principal, Portfolio Manager, Merger Arbitrage and Opportunities
Funds
Director of Risk Management and Quantitative Analysis
Keith Moore, who joined the firm in September
2006, has decades of experience in the merger arbitrage arena,
from portfolio manager to author. He succeeded George A. Kellner
in 1983 as Senior Vice President in charge of merger arbitrage at
Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.
Keith began his arbitrage career at Neuberger
& Berman as a Senior Analyst from 1975 to 1983 and was a
General Partner in charge of merger arbitrage, convertible
arbitrage and special situations trading from 1989 to 1996. From
1997 until he joined Kellner DiLeo in 2006, he was President and
Portfolio Manager of Jupiter Capital, a small, family-oriented
hedge fund specializing in risk arbitrage.
Keith is the author of the nationally
recognized book, “Risk Arbitrage: An Investor’s Guide”,
published by John Wiley & Sons.
Additionally, Keith is an author of the
Mergers & Acquisitions chapter for “Corporate Finance,” a
new textbook to be published in 2007 by the CFA Institute. He has
had research papers published in numerous publications regarding
arbitrage, trading and investing.

Jeffrey
N. Fachler
Principal, Portfolio Manager, Convertible Arbitrage
Jeff Fachler has more than 20 years experience in the convertible
and option arbitrage business and has managed the convertible
arbitrage portfolios since joining Kellner DiLeo in 1998. From
1996 to 1998 he was the Head Convertible Bond/Preferred Stock
Trader at Botta Trading, Inc. Prior thereto he was Director of International
Trading at WG Trading from 1993 - 1996 and a
Managing Director at Bear Sterns from 1990-1993, heading it's
Japanese bond and warrant desk. Mr. Fachler holds a B.A. (State University
of New York at Binghamton) and is registered as a General Securities Representative
(Series 7), Equity Trader (Series 55), and a Registered Option Principal (Series
4). |

Katalin E. Kutasi Principal, Portfolio Manager,
Distressed & High Income Investing
Ms. Kutasi joined Kellner DiLeo in 2005. Ms. Kutasi brings more than 26 years of restructuring, distressed and industry experience to Kellner DiLeo. She was most recently Senior Vice President/Director of High Yield, Distressed and Private Securities Research at Alliance Capital Management, L.P. While at Alliance she managed a team of fifteen research analysts that supported multi billion dollar portfolios of dedicated high yield, bank loan and private placement investments. Ms. Kutasi had joined Alliance in 1989 and was the firm's senior restructuring professional. Prior to Alliance, she was a Vice President at Continental Illinois Bank where she managed a portfolio of distressed oil and gas credits. Ms. Kutasi has served as a director of IWIRC (International Women‘s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation) and of numerous restructured companies. Ms. Kutasi holds a BA in accounting
(Michigan State University) and an MBA in finance (DePaul
University). |

Glen M. Friedman
Principal, Chief Financial and Operations Officer
Mr. Friedman is responsible for managing all of the firm's financial, back office operational and administrative support services. Prior to his career at Kellner DiLeo, Mr. Friedman was a Director at Mabon Securities Corporation from 1991 to 1994. He holds a B.S. (Lehigh University), an M.B.A. (New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business), is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York, is registered as a General Securities Representative (Series 7), Compliance Official (Series 14), Financial & Operations Principal (Series 27), and has passed the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63).
